About Us
Vejano started in Elise's apartment — specifically, in the awkward six months after she moved in and couldn't find a single side table that didn't look like it belonged in a dorm room or cost more than her rent.
Her friend Theo, who'd spent years working around furniture sourcing, kept sending her links to pieces that were either beautifully made and priced accordingly, or affordable and looked exactly like it.
Somewhere between the fortieth browser tab and a shared Google Sheet titled "actually good furniture," the idea for Vejano took shape: a curated home store built around one simple rule — if we wouldn't put it in our own living rooms, it doesn't make the cut.
That's still how we choose everything today.
Every piece in our catalog — living room, bedroom, kitchen, outdoor — gets picked the same way it started: two people arguing over a shared spreadsheet about whether something actually looks as good in person as it does in the photo.
We're a small team, and we like it that way. If you've ever felt like home décor shopping means choosing between "cheap and it shows" or "beautiful and it hurts," Vejano is the space we built for the people in between.
